The aim of this project is the steady-state analysis of the generator-step up transformer set of the gas and steam units of the Son Reus II combined cycle thermal plant. The steady-state analysis of the generator-step up transformer set will determine the most adequate transformer ratio and taps to fulfill the voltage requirements in boths the high and low voltage sides under rated operating conditions. The steady-state analysis of the auxiliary systems will determine the voltages, power flows and short circuit currents in these installations. This study will also include the analysis of motor starting.
